Q: How quickly will I find work?
A: That depends on where you wish to work, what you want to do and when you are available. If you are flexible on the job you wish to do then more opportunities will be available to you, cutting down the placement time. If you are already in the country that you wish to work in and the Employer requires you to attend an interview, then it can be quite quickly that you are placed if you are found suitable for the position. Of course skype interviews can be arranged and if you are available for when the employer needs you, placement can be quick.
Once you have registered it can take anything from 1 week to 3 months depending on where you wish to work, what kind of work you are looking for and what time of year it is. The UAE requires candidates to have medicals prior to flying out for a position, so in this case we say approx 3 months.
As we constantly receive new listings from employers, we are always able to place people depending upon requirements. You are able to check the job listings however, due to the high volume that we receive, we cannot advertise them all, so we post the most recent. All other job listings are archived here at the office. Please just ask for further info.
Q: Do I need to speak the language of the country I want to work in?
A: No not necessarily! It all depends on the type of job that you are applying for. If in doubt - ask one of our friendly agents at Marmaris Recruitment.
Q: What are the age limits for working Overseas?
A: Depending on the type of role you are applying for, you can apply from the age of 18 years old - 80 Years old! Of course each employer is different. Teaching roles tend to stop accepting applications from candidates over 50 years old. However Tourism roles are a bit different.
Q: Is my Accommodation included?
A: Some employers will supply accommodation, some will expect you to have your own accommodation. We will provide you with this info for each position that you apply for.
Q: What about Work Permits?
A: Each country is different. For Turkey specific applications please visit our Residency and Permits page.
Q: Why do you charge a registration fee?
A: We find that when a candidate pays to registers through our agency that they are 100% serious about taking on work overseas and less likely to drop out of a contract at the last minute. Our candidates are considered to be hard working, motivated, and most of all - reliable. We strive to work with only the candidates that are serious about working overseas as we like to keep our excellent reputation for delivering only the highest standards of staff. The fee is only £44.99 GBP per year that you wish to remain with the agency.
As well as covering admin costs and time, the fee also covers:
- Creating a profile that is viewable by employers
- Being added onto our exclusive members only mailing list
- Receiving email support from us
- For the agency to request feedback and to conduct follow up's on all applications on behalf of the candidate
- Help with creating a professional CV if required
